Post-adoption balance review — 2026-09-09
Verdict
The independent review found no blocking issue. Ship the report and its provisional recommendations. The study does not certify game balance or final item prices.
Retained evidence
The full-game source SHA-256 is 7d55f2d764041a45c63fde63689223084fe6bcae179dd91066dfbf85068eee14.
The derived summary SHA-256 is 40bb097819e96d1678589abf67bce83bd74765f3a3bd8d587798506f3e05d237.
All 49 frozen source and input hashes match. The audit retains all 15,360 factorial keys and 768 mirror keys.
The four conditions change only the eight ranged Accuracy values and the vertical-movement toggle. Every ranged Accuracy value changes by exactly +2.
The reviewer reproduced equal map and opponent weighting. The reviewer also reproduced the whole-seed bootstrap, factorial formulas and headline intervals.
The fixed and transferred profiles remain separate. The report identifies all 64 no-engagement games in each affected inherited-policy condition.
The worksheet requires both sides at the aggression grid's equilibrium and an even mirror before price acceptance.
The review corrected two draft overclaims before approval. The report now says Accuracy improves proactive-Fire reliability instead of claiming an unregistered acceptance target. It also exposes the inherited profile's 64 of 1,920 no-engagement games in both pre-adoption and Accuracy-only. All occur on Foundry in melee against gunline or control. Movement-only and current have none. Every factorial panel has zero draws.
The result remains exploratory. Eight whole-seed blocks support paired descriptive intervals, not game-balance acceptance. The fixed and transferred policies are not current equilibria. The evidence cannot isolate one paid-movement submechanism, certify the map geometry, or set final item prices.
Verification
pnpm typecheck passes.
The default pnpm test run had two worker-contention timeouts in cli/balance-math.test.ts. BUG-004 tracks this infrastructure issue.
The bounded-worker command passes all 554 tests across 79 files:
pnpm exec vitest run --maxWorkers=2
The timeout does not change the retained evidence or review verdict.
